The Opportunity

The Corporate Trainer will create and implement talent and management development training programs for employees of all levels in the various URUS companies. Training topics would include communication, leading processes, change management, strategic thinking, coaching, productivity, and other management and leadership topics that increase the skills and confidence of staff in the URUS companies.

Responsibility will reach across URUS’ domestic and international markets, requiring effective teamwork with business managers from around the world to set and implement development priorities. This challenging position will also be responsible for coaching employees after the trainings and working closely with the URUS company HR managers and e-learning teams to create personal development plans, succession plans, and blended learnings for continual personal development. This position will report to the URUS People Development & HR Director, and will be based in Madison, WI. 

Primary Responsibilities

-   Deliver highly interactive, engaging, and impactful live trainings for all levels of employees
-   Develop curriculum, implement and monitor trainings and training follow-up
-   Assess training needs by communicating with stakeholders, observing work environments, and studying leadership and management techniques
-   Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and case studies, being available for application, and developing outcome improvement  resources
-   Develop individual coaching plans for training follow-up
-   Identify external experts and build and maintain relationships with additional external trainers for outsourced training
-   Maintain a library of outsourced training for individual skill development based on personal development plans with senior level staff
-   Create testing and evaluation processes
-   Maintain advanced level of skill in effective training methods, curriculum  development and delivery and training exercises to support excellence in educational programs and outcomes
-   Develop procedures to document/track personal development plans for all training personnel

-   Able to travel 30% of the time domestically and internationally
